Bilge Serin works as Lecturer in Global Urbanism at the University of Glasgow. She is an urban researcher with a diverse background and works on the dynamics behind inequality in urban space, everyday life, commons and commoning. She is the principal investigator on the project ‘From Charity to Solidarity: Covid-19 Mutual Aid Groups’.

Adriana M. Soaita is a Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow and a MSCA (Horizon) Fellow at the University of Bucharest. She is particularly interested in the lived experience of housing and home, and its links to socioeconomic and spatial inequalities. She is a co-investigator on the project ‘From Charity to Solidarity: Covid-19 Mutual Aid Groups’.

Eleanor Chapman is an interdisciplinary PhD candidate in the departments of Human Geography and Sociolinguistics at the University of Glasgow, researching multilingualism, minoritised languages and migration in the Western Isles of Scotland. She also works as a freelance translator. She is a research assistant on the project ‘From Charity to Solidarity: Covid-19 Mutual Aid Groups’.

Gareth James is a Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow and works as Knowledge Exchange Associate for the UK Collaborative Centre for Housing Evidence (CaCHE). He manages knowledge exchange and impact at CaCHE and coordinate the Centre’s knowledge exchange activities across Scotland. He contributes to organising the research and outreach activities of the project ‘From Charity to Solidarity: Covid-19 Mutual Aid Groups’.
